I thought this was neat on Oprah…

I am watching Oprtah righ now and she has Jerry Seinfeld’s wife Jessica. She came out with a neat cookbook that has puree’s.   I will post some of the recipes on my page. They are all low fat.  Here is some info about the book:        http://www.deceptivelydelicious.com/site/index.php

As a mother of three, Jessica Seinfeld, like many busy parents, used to struggle to get her kids to eat right. In Deceptively Delicious, she shares her solutions: easy, mouthwatering recipes that even the most overwhelmed families can make — stealthily packed with unseen veggies, puréed so kids will never suspect.

Deceptively Delicious has all of Jessica’s winning combinations, including cauliflower in macaroni and cheese, and spinach in brownies. She also shares tips on making healthy snacks and improving store-bought foods, as well as advice on creating a positive environment around the kitchen table. Deceptively Delicious is a godsend for all parents who want healthy kids, peaceful family meals, and never again having to say, “Eat your vegetables!”

  I hope this helps someone.

Oprah’s on here at 11pm - maybe I’ll check it out, if I can’t sleep! Sounds like it was a good one. I tivo’d her interview of the Eat-Sleep-Love author (blanking on her name)… that was such a great book. But I kept falling asleep while I was trying to watch it last night LOL. Ellen

I watched the show too. I think being creative and playing with kids would make them it whatever.

Hope you are doing great Melissa.

    Have a wonderful Tuesday,
    Tatiana

I love little tidbits on how to sneak veggies in for my kids. Although, they don’t mind snacking on celery, carrots, green peppers and eggs with spinach. I don’t have picky eaters but it is great just to get that little extra in. Thanks I’ll have to check it out.
